Experts believe that one meaningful conversation from someone may jolt a mood negatively or positively, aspire and create an intended move some one’s ideology and new direction.
They assert that one needs a critical conversation for the bigger dreams, bigger thoughts and bigger motivations.
Like the proverb say, birds of the same feathers flock together, researchers also believe spending much of time with successful people can inspire and motivate and create the same feeling and ideas.
John Christianson, a psychologist at Boston College USA argues that the essence of having meaningful conversations is needed at least every day.
Christianson said, “Having one meaningful conversation a day for a period of 365 days will impact someone’s life with richness, full of more joy, and the positive energy.” But for someone to have a meaningful conversation, the discussants have to avoid distraction of thoughts, transparency and openness. If you are not saying what you feel or think then you are probably not having a meaningful conversation,” Christianson advises.
He encourages people especially youth to take the risk and start having real, meaningful conversations every day for them to be catalyzing changes in their lives.
Psychologists have proved it right that at times through conversation, people with mental disorders like trauma, depression and anxiety are able to heal as a result.
Experts also assert that a meaningful conversation is a key to language development, exchange of thoughts and ideas and that conversation advances self-reflection and a cornerstone of early development and throughout life stages.”
