High government officials this morning officiated the beginning of the Primary Leaving Examination exams (PLE) in Bugesera District.
A number of 254, 678 candidates are enrolled to sit for the Primary Leaving Examinations. The exams are being done in the isolations to avoid the transmission of the Covid-19 cases.
Gaspard Twagirayezu, the Minister of State in Charge of Primary and Secondary Education and District Mayor Richard Mutabazi toured different schools in Bugesera.
The Minister in charge of Primary education wished the students good luck and success encouraging them to do exams without panicking and fear.
Minister Twagirayezu promised parents and Rwandans in general that “no students will be prevented to do their exams on conditions that they are ill or suffering with Covid-19”.
