Arguably, the joy created experienced by the parents when their children perform better is such a good feeling worth any mother or a father deserves. Nonetheless, it is worked for and there is an investment required to be invested as a parent for your child or student to be able to excel with good marks.
Isezerano’s mother, Marie Claire Irafasha, 37, breaks down the secrets of having the best students and what she did while preparing him for the exams.
She had a conversation with The Campus on the journey of preparing their children so for him to excel in their studies.
Qn: What did you do for your child to perform better?
Ans: So what we did at the beginning was that we made sure he is trained enough. As parents, we have to make sure that we play a part in his studies.
Every time when he came back from school we could train and help with redoing homework as well as buy him textbooks both soft and hard books.
In addition, we could help him find coaching teachers as well preparing extra studies over the weekends.
Qn: What will you do to keep him in the same spirit?
Ans: We want to continue helping him excel in his studies as we make sure we fulfill our parental obligations, pay him school fees on time, and support him in all ways we can.
We are looking forward to helping him even during the holidays so that he doesn’t lose momentum.
Qn: What are his favorite subjects?
Ans: He really loves math and social studies.
Qn: What did he want to become when he graduates?
Ans: He wants to become a doctor when he completes his studies. He wants to become a doctor and help people who are sick and ill. We are also hospital attendants therefore, he also wants to step into their parent's feet.
Qn: Where was he admitted?
Ans: He was admitted to Ecole de Saint Espirit Nyanza in Nyanza district.
Qn: Are you happy with the school he was admitted to?
Ans: Not really, we had wanted him to study Ecole de science de Byimana from the beginning but we came to find he was admitted to another school.
We are now appealing so that he changes the school and we are appealing to change the school because Ecole de Science de Byimana is one of the best schools in sciences. We think by attending Ecole de Science de Byimana he will be able to achieve his dreams of becoming a doctor.
Qn: What are his hobbies and interests?
Ans: Isezerano is really a humble person and a churchgoer. He had no other interests.
