Two candidate students who were doing their final exam revision are reported to have brought a fight that turned violent when one of them hammered his fellow in the head leaving him with minor wounds.
Sources say these student's confrontation was a result of the fighting for a girl.
The incident took place at GS Kabare in the Remera sector in Ngoma district, where they are sitting for their final exams.
Kirenga Providence, the Vice Mayor in charge of people’s welfare confirmed the scandalous events.
“It’s true that the two boys were in the revision of their exams this weekend when they misunderstood each other, quarreled and fought and one student picked up a hammer and bang his fellow,” Vice Mayor said.
Kirenga said that after the scandal, there was an investigation to know the reason for their fight.
“After such an indiscipline case, we decided to call the parent to come, take their children, but we allowed them only to access the school until they finish their exams,” Kirenga added.
The Vice Mayor said, “both students will continue to do the national examinations having found that the injured one is fine.”
This is not the first time that indiscipline cases are over heard among the youths especially the students.
