The highly anticipated Ntare Louisenlund School (NLS) officially opened its doors on September 23, 2024 marking the beginning of the educational journey for over 120 students. The enrolled students successfully passed the 2023-2024 national exams for primary levels and are the inaugural class of this prestigious institution.
This international school has been designed to provide world-class education to both boys and girls, and its foundation symbolizes a strengthening of regional educational ties.
During the opening ceremony held at the school's campus in Bugesera, dignitaries, parents, students, and staff gathered to witness the beginning of a new academic year. The event celebrated the institution's vision of fostering leadership, excellence, and innovation among Rwanda's future generations.
As the school gears up for its full operational capacity, it has already begun accepting applications for students and staff, signaling its intention to become a major player in the region’s educational landscape.
The school is the brain child of former students of Ntare School in Uganda, united under the banner of the Ntare School Old Boys Association [NSOBA].
The institution is set to provide both local and international students with a unique learning environment, fostering excellence in various fields while shaping future leaders.
Ntare Louisenland School both a Rwandan and international school will deliver an international curriculum with a strong focus on STEM as it aims at fostering academic excellence, nurturing students character and promoting a sense of community, so that students will be equipped to tackle the challenges of the twenty-first century.
