A total of 240 of students have already been enrolled at Ntare Louiseland school with a focus on the students who excelled in mathematics and science subjects.
This was said by the Minister of Education Gaspard Twagirayezu during the publication of the National Examination Results of the academic year of 2023/2024.
“A number of the 240 students have already been selected to enroll at the school with a focus on the best performers particularly in mathematics and sciences,” the Minister disclosed, adding that the school will majorly embark on technology and science courses.
“It is a government aided school founded to raise the capacity of student’s in science courses,” the Minister said.
According to the Minister of Education, Ntare Louiseland school is going to be the first government aided school to come with international programs such as International Cambridge Assessment programs.
Available sources indicate that Ntare Louisenland School, is a Rwandan international education institution inspired by Uganda’s Ntare School.
His comment follows another event whereby the Minister of State for Education Claudette Nirere visited the premises of the school accompanied by the release of the communique calling for the students to apply. It is expected that the school will open its gates on September 23.
The school based in Nyamata, Bugesera will accommodate roughly a number of 1,000 boarding students with fully fledged facilities such as laboratories, smart classrooms, creative workshops and soccer grounds as well as swimming pools.
