GYAN Educational Services company has laid a space for Rwandan high school and university graduates with opportunity to continue their studies at the model universities in India.
Venkat Gudipati Ramana, co-founders of the company in Rwanda, said that they give opportunities to all students who wish to study in any Indian university, Masters degree and those who want to continue their studies in PhD.
"India is the third largest provider of quality education after the USA and China. It is in this context that we want to work with the country of Rwanda to provide quality education." he said.
Venkat explained that their major aim is to contribute to the development journey that Rwanda is going through by helping students get better education as well as creating the pavement for knowledge based economy.
"We believe that Rwanda is going to be a good place to invest for many entrepreneurs. That is why we want Rwandan students to be provided with quality education so that they can return to the country and contribute to its development. ” he added.
All students wishing to study at Indian Universities can apply for it through GYAN website where the students can be selected and awarded with half scholarship of 55% payment of tuition fee.
The tuition fee includes accommodation, food, passport, visa and ticket plane.
So far GYAN company has helped almost 70 Rwandan students to study at major universities in India including Marwadi University, GITAM University, Jain University, KIIT University, VelTech University, and others.
The company targets to help at least 200 Rwandan students per year who wish to study in India.
Launched in Rwanda in 2019, the company looks forward to help Rwandans and Africans in general to get quality education in India.
