Every year Rwanda celebrates Liberation day (Kwibohora), it is the day every Rwandan celebrates and enjoys the end of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi and the liberation struggle.

Historically speaking, the liberators of this nation were mainly the youth and most of the Rwanda Patriotic Army (RPA) soldiers were at a young age which shows how achieving superhuman endeavors doesn’t require having too much age or to be old enough.

The RPA soldiers were so determined and courageous in the liberation struggle as many of them have shared it in their testimony.  

Now Rwanda is a peaceful, democratic, developed and united people after many years of hatred and divisionism by the dictatorial regime.

It is important to note, however, that the unity and development Rwanda has now didn't come from anywhere but from the blood and the sweat of the Rwandan youth who gave used their youngest blood and fought tirelessly to Rwanda liberated.

Since 1957 when the divisionism started and the hatred speech spread around the country Rwanda was starting to experience the worst chapter in its history.   

During the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, youth murdered their fellows and the Tutsis in general, they used their young age in putting the country into darkness instead of using their strength in developing the country.

Even if there are youth involved in the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi blindly but their counterpart-the youth who were living in exile took initiative and worked tirelessly with humility, humanity and patriotism to liberate Rwanda and bring back the Rwandas value which has been forgotten.

Meanwhile, it is truly loud and clear that Inkotanyi’s youth are the best teachers of today’s youth and every Rwandan youth should walk in their footsteps without any doubt.   

This is because Inkotanyi showed us a lot of things to learn from them, the values and things that drove their resilience to victory.

They laid a legacy that the youth must hold to develop the country by building up from what they have done in 28 years ago.

The RPF philosophy must grow deeper into the hearts and the minds of Rwandan youth so that we will never disappoint them anymore. The RPA soldiers were so young with courage, patriotism, resilience, super humanity, patience, looking for the future not only the current moment, selfish-less, all together along with loving Rwanda and Rwandans.

We have not ever seen any Rwanda’s government which have loved their population more than how  RPF  Inkotanyi did, since the first republic till the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi. This is a spirit youth must keep as the legacy that will live forever and transmit to the next coming generations.

The other reason why youth must walk into the Inkotanyi’s spirit is the great and big hearts of these young liberators, they have done a lot of things in a loving and selfless manner. If you look at how they have been re-secured and evacuated people during the liberation struggle can give you the level of their love, their love was so amazing and incomparable.      

Youth of today must all look at those good activities of their elders and learn how they should never betray this beautiful nation and love Rwanda and Rwandans.

There is no excuse today’s youth can have, if you think about the young ladies and gentlemen who built this country from nothing shows how we have the base now we can do better things than them. We have a peaceful country which gives us opportunities and possibilities to work 24 hours to 24 hours without any fear.

Although, the opportunities out there are not enough, Rwanda has set a lot of things which should elevate the youth’s skills and give them a space of working and implementing their ideas.

Many projects are there to support everyone now we are seeing iAccelerator, youth connect awards, innovation hub awards, BDF is everywhere to give a loan to the youth, has a business idea and so many other banks which are working in this best environment Rwanda has made.

Today youth have the space of showing what they can do, in government are there,businesses, health, agriculture, and in every sector you may find youth there. Youth should use the patriotism of Inkotanyi so that they can gain an enthusiasm to execute well what they are responsible for in every aspect of their life.

Let us live in the country everyone is proud of and continue to make proud Inkotanyi who showed us what is good through their diligent behaviors. We must deliberate from bondage and poverty, fight for our unity and stand for our dignity everywhere.

Not let worldwide nations or people who are abroad broadcast us in the worst way as we don’t know who we are and how we have achieved more in this country that’s what we can do on our social media to show how Rwanda is beautiful and how Inkotanyi changed this nation for good and forever.
