Certainly, there is a conglomeration of reasons why this Basketball Africa League (BAL) set to tip-off on Sunday in Kigali is special and why you should be aware of this continental tournament in this country.
First and foremost what you should know the Basketball Africa League of this year will be belonging to the intercontinental competition because the invitees are from different parts of this continent, Africa, and around the world.

BAL 2021 is too a touristic tournament and both Rwanda Development Board and Basketball Africa League have announced the official agreement on a deal of partnership in the long-term project as the jersey branding Visit Rwanda will be used in this tournament.
International sports broadcasting agencies like ESPN, NBA TV, Canal +, VOA, beIN sport, TSN will also report live the entire tournament. Some news though reaching our desk is that there could be a limited number of people who will be allowed to enter into Arena to watch these games due to tight measures against the spread of Covid-19.
The first inaugural season of Basketball that initially expected to take place on 3rd, May 2021 and postponed due to Covid-19 was prepared by NBA (National Basketball Association) and FIBA (International Basketball Federation) and will gather top Basket Ball in Africa including AS Douanes (Senegal), BBC Patriots (Rwanda), Petro de Ruanda (Angola), Union Sportif Monastir (Tunisia), AS Sale (Morroco), Zamalek (Egypt), among others.
The qualifying rounds for the season were held in October and December 2019. The national champion of each African country has the opportunity to qualify through the qualifying rounds.
