United Christian Church (UCC) Rwanda has introduced a United Christian Academy, a church's nursery school that will facilitate the pre-primary infants from poor families in the nearby communities freely access primary education.
United Christian Academy which will be a charity based is the church’s initiative of giving back to the communities.
The Senior Pastor for UCC, Apostle Charles Rwandamura, disclosed that the school has already started operations and the selection of beneficiaries is going on.
“We are working with the local authorities to find out who really deserves the privilege. We have brought trained teachers on board and spacious buildings and facilities enough to accommodate infants have been constructed ." Apostle Rwandamura told congregants last Sunday.
United Christian Academy establishment is also inspired by the church's need to nurture infants and instill Godly manners at an early age among toddlers.
United Christian Church, Rwanda was founded by Apostle Charles Rwandamura who is also the general archbishop of Apostle Mission (AWEM) in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and DRC.
The UCC church was founded in the early 2000's on pillars of the good gospel of the Lord Christ, His saving power of souls, healing transformation, and a belief in the outward change of people’s lives through his name and the mandate of preaching the gospel to the lost world.
